Cy Young in Cleveland
Sunday, October 5th, 2008
Cy Young started his baseball career with the Cleveland Spiders Aug. 6, 1890.
When Cliff Lee wins the Cy Young award it will be the second year in a row a Cleveland Pitcher won the award. Last year was CC Sabathia who was graced with the honor. CC was traded early in the season after running on empty.
Cliff Lee who would have returned to Arkansas had the tribe sent him back to the minors, turned out to be the natural.
Below are photos taken from dug out suite behind home plate during Lee’s 22 consecutive win, at Progressive Field.
