Very sarcastic
So wired this month had the different costs for different body parts in the world, as it turns out you can buy a heart from china for less then three hundred grand.
As it turns out, the majority of China’s donors have recently lost their lifes to the state for a crime. Maybe they were homosexuals who knows, or as i have heard a chinese student say, “he suffered another mans love.” Either way they are dead might as well sell their parts.
Come on China, enter the free market, like in other parts of the world were the donors family might actually get some fiscal benefit for the donation of life. A person says i will sell my heart he gets cut open and his family gets 50k.
Seriously though, what is this i hear that in the US when you die no one owns your organs, your family cant lay claim to them. So who makes the profit for the donated hearts, that in the united states dont cost 300k, because no one owns them, i bet its those people that advertise on tv and tell us that the surgeons still wait for our heart to stop beating before they harvest our organs.
I feel like i am being left behind by this brave new world.
Clone the Dalai Lama and lets be done with it.
Seriously though, that movie the Island, very good, i dont know why i never wanted to see it, maybe the fact that it wasn’t R, or the premise seemed so what, the movie actually did give me a substantial amount of anxiety.
On the down side, it does have more product placement than demolition man, and idiocracy put together. So if you are buying pumas or using ms search after the movie you will know why.
